Meet the Atlanta Team Behind Doyle Garage Doors Atlanta

When you book a repair or installation with Doyle Garage Doors Atlanta, you won’t get a rotating cast of subcontractors. You’ll get one of a small, named crew that Aaron Teague has worked beside, trained, and held to a standard since this Atlanta location opened. These are the people who’ll show up at your door in a marked uniform, photo badge in hand, with a name you already know because we sent it to you before they left the shop. That’s the Threshold Standard in practice, and it starts with the four people below.

Our People

Marcus D. – Lead Technician

Marcus has been turning wrenches on garage doors in Atlanta for 14 years, the last six of them with Doyle. He’s our torsion spring specialist, which matters more than most homeowners realize. Torsion springs, the large coils mounted above the door that do most of the lifting, hold an enormous amount of tension and fail without warning. Marcus handles more spring replacements in a month than many techs see in a year, and he’s factory-trained on LiftMaster, Genie, and Chamberlain openers. Outside of work, he rebuilds old Honda motorcycles in his Decatur garage. Slowly, by his own admission.

Sarah K. – Senior Installer

Sarah leads our installation crew and has been with Doyle Garage Doors Atlanta since 2018. She came to us from the commercial door side of the trade, which means she thinks in terms of weight, torque, and track alignment before she ever picks up a drill. Sarah handles full door replacements, new construction installs, and the kind of uneven-floor garage situations that make a standard install turn into a custom job. She’s Clopay and Amarr certified and has a reputation for leaving a job site cleaner than she found it. On weekends you’ll find her hiking the trails at Sweetwater Creek with a camera that’s older than most of our apprentices.

Dana R. – Service Coordinator

Dana is the voice on the other end of (229) 408-2364 more often than not. She’s been with the Threshold Group family of companies since 2016 and knows the Atlanta schedule, the parts inventory, and the traffic patterns well enough to give you an honest arrival window instead of a guess. Dana is the one who sends the name and photo of your technician before every visit, and she’ll tell you the written price guarantee applies before any work begins, because she’s the one who hands that promise to the tech every morning. She’s also the reason our 24/7 phone support actually works. Day, night, weekend, or holiday, a real person answers. That person is often Dana, and if it’s not, it’s someone sitting at the same desk with the same schedule in front of them.

Travis W. – Apprentice Technician

Travis joined us two years ago through a technical program at Atlanta Technical College and has been working under Marcus’s supervision since day one. He’s already passed his opener diagnostics certification and handles most remote programming, sensor alignment, and routine maintenance calls on his own. Every repair Travis completes is inspected by a lead tech before we call it done, which is exactly how it worked for Marcus when he was the new guy. Travis is also the only person on the crew who can name every Atlanta Falcons draft pick from the last decade, a skill that has never once been useful on a job site and has never stopped him from sharing it.

One Standard, Every Job

The thing that unites this crew isn’t just the Doyle name on the uniform. It’s the commitments we make in writing before a single bolt gets turned. Every job gets a written price handed to you before the work starts, not a verbal estimate and not an invoice surprise at the end. Every repair carries the 365-Day Done Right Promise. That means 365 days from the date of repair, if it fails, we come back and make it right at no charge. And every technician, from Marcus down to Travis, operates under the Threshold Standard: background-checked, identity-verified, photo badge at the door, name and photo sent to you in advance. No exceptions, no argument, no fine print. That’s how Aaron Teague set it up when this Atlanta location opened, and that’s how it runs today.
